Treatments

We provide the following therapies at our center. Patients have to note that these are intended for their awareness. The selection of a particular treatment procedure for an individual involves a thorough consideration of the stage of disease and the nature (Prakruti) of the individual, which is entirely based on the expert discretion of the Physician. Patients are advised not to resort to any form of Ayurvedic therapies without proper consultation and guidance of a physician.

SNEHANA

This treatment involves lubrication of body toxins also known as Dosha to remove them from the body. It involves internal administration or external application of various kinds of unctuous substances such as ghee, oils or other fats decided by the physician.

SNEHAPANA

Oleation therapy performed before any purificatory therapies such as Vamana (emesis), Virecana (purgation) or Vasti (enema). It helps in lubricating body toxins (Dosha) or to nourish the body for purposes of weight gain therapy or strengthening therapy.


ABHYANGA

The Ayurvedic art of oil massage used for healing and detoxifying the body. It is proven as a rejuvenator and helpful to prevent neurological disorders, fatigue, back pain, body ache. It helps in blood flow, body relaxation and sound sleep, nourishes the skin as well as soothes the nervous system, stimulates the circulation of blood and lymph and enlivens the immune system.

PICU

Local Procedure done on the head in which medicated oil is retained on a cotton gauze kept over the vertex of the head.

 

TALAM

Local application of medicated powder on head for a period of time.
